Wasn’t aware of Bartees Strange before today, but I’m almost through my first listen of the record and wow, it’s fucking phenomenal

 

I see nothing but praise in this thread and I'm just so fucking happy. Knew this place would love it.

I thought Flagey God was really good when I first heard it but it’s only gotten better. It’s my favorite on the record today

 

yeah this kicks a hefty amount of ass

he definitely wears his influences on his sleeve but I think that's what makes it so good.. there's so many distinct styles here and he knocks them all out of the park
