i like live forever a lot too, but this feels next-level to me. this feels like what i imagine it felt like listening to funeral for the first time in 2004
A few tour dates are popping up for November/December (unless those were previously announced, but I hadn't heard). Nov. 5 in Columbus Nov. 14 in Cambridge Dec. 14 in Denver Dec. 18 in Atlanta
Not as hot on this as everyone else unfortunately and I LOVED Live Forever. Oh well, hopefully it’s a grower
seeing him in August with Courtney Barnett, Lucy Dacus, Faye Webster and others at an outdoor festival, cant fucking wait
I saw him at his first ever headlining show so I am a bigger fan than any of you. Didn’t listen to this yet.
This is good but after the first listen I way prefer his first album. The sequencing on this is weird to me.
In no position to say how much I like this in comparison to Live Forever, but my first impression was very strong. Super happy to report that Cosigns, a song I liked from the jump, is by far my least favorite track here Whoever said Hennessy had Dijon energy was spot on
Went in blind on this one and never listened to the singles. First three songs on here are fantastic, Cosigns is actual garbage, from there nothing really moves the needle for me either way. I’ll keep playing this through the week in hopes it’ll grow on me but I’m pretty let down. That first three song run is so good, I really thought this had AOTY potential for a minute
