Yeah a cliffhanger would have been not knowing who shot whom. How it actually ended conveyed “He’ll never truly escape this”
Yeah you guys are right, not a cliffhanger in the traditional sense. But I was definitely left with the feeling of “oh shit, what is that gonna cause?”
It’s been forever since I watched S1 but I’d classify the ending as a cliffhanger seeing as a cop is (presumably) dead and an investigation into a cop’s disappearance is going to be extremely significant.
Yea I would definitely say that was a pretty big cliffhanger to leave that on If it’s not classified as a cliffhanger - I’m still excited as shit to see what happens next season
