Really loved the long single panning shot with the rocket, Hank, Fuches and then shootout car chase. I don’t want just one more episode damn it.
My friend came up with a theory after last week's episode that I'm even more convinced of now. He said that he thinks that Barry's son, John, is dead. Either Sally killed him or she neglected him and he somehow killed himself (the gun?). Ever since Barry left the house, Sally's hallucinations have been increasing (the shadowy figure stalking here around the house, the house getting hit by a car, the cop bleeding from the eyes). It's definitely possible that John still appearing is just further hallucinations manifesting from her guilt. Nobody else acknowledged him in the entire episode, including Hank. The only spot that gave me pause was when the two guys came to get Sally on the street, there was a guy putting John in the car, but they never spoke or anything so that could just be another part of her hallucinations. Anyways, this could all be for nothing, but just an interesting theory so we'll see.
this was much better than the last two episodes, glad they remembered this show can be funny and that makes the dark stuff feel so much darker the rocket scene was absolutely classic Hader
I am ok with hour long Ted talks But that’s not the show I was ready to defend so I’ll be at ease…for now
Hank does say to meet him if Barry wants to see his family again. Which would be weird if it was only sally in the room
I was having a discussion with my friend about that. I'm on your side that it seems like a weird thing to say about one person, but it's also one of those things that technically it would still be true. Could just be another thing to throw people off the scent, but it would be kinda cheap in my mind.
I don't know. Personally I don't see anyone coming out of this show with a typical happy ending. I think most major characters are either dying or having tragic outcomes. I could be way off though. Either way, I'm excited for next week. Can't believe there's only one left!
I definitely do not see a happy ending for Sally, but being responsible for the death of her child feels like a different show entirely. She’s had such a well structured arc in which something like that would have no business being a part of
Yeah, having to raise a kid she doesn't want without Barry seems like punishment enough, given what we've seen. I think it would actually be a relief to her if John died.
So Moss was outside Sally’s apartment the night Sally and Barry escaped, and in this episode he leaves a knife out next to an unattended Barry so he can escape. He’s either the worst fucking cop on the planet or he’s letting Barry escape, neither makes sense incredible ep, incredible show, it needs to be longer these eps are just choochin by
Lol. Yeah I thought something similar when Barry was able to just get up and walk across the room. Like what are the odds Jim finally has Barry after all this time and doesn’t even tie his legs up? I get that he was probably going to kill Barry right there in the garage before being sidetracked, but still. At least the show is consistent with showing cops fumbling
yeah the answer was Ted Lasso…. Are you talking about Maisel? (Which has always done hour long eps but I heard this final season has been wild)
I was talking about Mrs Maisel and I’m disappointed when I see the credits after every hour long episode
Barry became a lower priority in that instant, but I don’t think that means Jim obviously intended to let him go - the guy did still murder his daughter. But it’s not really important. We have people that think the time skip is fake and that Barry or his son are dead. Let me have this
