No hyperbole that may have been my favorite episode of the series. The guest stars, the failed hit, and Sally having an interesting new arc coming up. Loved it. Gene and his agent stole the episode
I was assuming when it cut to showing the car with gene and him in it he was gonna make a drastic u turn or break. Then he just gradually collides into a parked car lol
I think I posted this a million times last season but I still love (when something like Ted Lasso is doing what it's doing) that this show keeps it at a hard 30 minutes. It just gives the show a certain energy
Fred Armisen appearing on screen looking like a crazy man was one of the most surreal fourth wall breaking moments I've felt from this show. It was as if Barry the character, in a state of complete mental collapse, had his mind taken over the actual Bill Hader, and started hallucinating his weird SNL friend in the room with him. When Barry pointed him out to everyone else, I half-expected the other characters to say that there was nobody there
I’m not a fan of Armisen but that closeup on his insane face was so great. Also the set up that the assassins review gadgets that never work, only for his special gadget pen gun(??) to blow his hand off is fantastic.
So we think that the girl in Sally's acting class is playing Sally herself in a movie or show or something right
it might have been mentioned already but bill’s breakdowns of each episode with sean fennessey have been great
really creeped me out that the dude Sally killed was sitting in the acting class crowd. camera didn't draw attention to him at all, was like some Haunting of Hill House shit. really effective
