I was so happy to see Vanessa and her scene was absolutely hilarious haha But okay about the main attraction of the episode, that bike chase was so fucking good. I absolutely love how this show films its action scenes so realistically (I almost hesitate to call them "action scenes", it's more just scenes of violence). It's unlike anything I've really seen before. Hader is a fucking amazing director
That was just exceptional television. The whole Mitch segments were great and lol at Fuges falling ass backwards into the same perfect situation for him and still going after Barry. The most horrific part of the episode was Barry trying to merge with impatient California drivers. I live that everyday.
how do your people say water? ...water. you're 20 minutes outside LA. there's a Starbucks right over that hill
Bunny Colvin! Robert Wisdom is great. Barry is now officially a "more than one Wire vet in the ensemble" show
I 100% knew the beignets guy would be a recurring bit, but I still laughed like an idiot at the hard cut of Hank crying/venting about everything to him
One of the best episodes of the whole show imo The Vanessa Bayer scene was maybe the hardest I’ve ever laughed at this show
Fantastic episode. The beignets place is a cafe I’ve eaten at a few times. Lots of ~leo pointing~ moments in this episode.
was there any explanation as to why barry’s bike seemingly couldn’t go over 20 mph but theirs worked fine?
