this episode should have just been 30 minutes of Fred Melamed rattling off insults nah kidding it was wildly good
That was an all time great episode! All the bomb app/username stuff was gold. “The S’s are dollar signs.” Glad Sally realized Barry is a violent/hurtful person and ended it. Also didn’t think about the fact like someone pointed out that Root is giving them her apartment address.
Seems like with what Fuches is doing they’re setting up Sally finally learning the truth about Barry soon
I really liked this episode. Every bomb gag, it being all the way out in the parking lot, the Bolivians hearing it through the floorboards, and the helpline ("sounds like it worked!"), was hilarious. Sally dumping Barry was great. I know she's a fictional character, but I was so proud of her for that. Still unsure where the series is heading. So far, this has had final season feels to it but I know there's a 4th one coming.
On a new ep of Conan's podcast, Bill talks about how he was a PA on the 2002 film Collateral Damage, and how he ended up filling in for a one-line role of a pilot that was in a deleted scene
So do we really think all the Bolivians are dead if Cristobal survived it? Kinda feel like they were all same vicinity in the shot.
Damn, the search function is strange as I thought this thread wasn't being updated and I was confused on why the new season wasn't being talked about. Hello All! Only 2 episodes in (will catch up later and pop back in to discuss when fully up to date), but very good so far. The end of episode 2 with that weird camera angle on Barry's and Gene's faces was so off putting (but in a good way). Probably another Emmy on the way for Bill and Henry if they keep this up. I also really liked the long shot through the various sets and how chaotic the set production and filming was of the new show. I would assume they're trying to keep it true to life so that was a neat 'behind the scenes' look.
Isn't Season 4 supposed to be the final season? And weren't seasons 3 and 4 written at the same time? Maybe I'm thinking of Atlanta?
I think they wrote both seasons but obviously didn't produce any episodes for 4 yet. I think ATL filmed episodes for both seasons?
Yeah I keep confusing the two shows for the same reason. I’m pretty sure only Atlanta announced the end of the show
Hader said they wrote S4 once COVID stunted production of S3. So they knew it'd get picked up just not formally announced.
I thought when they were talking inside the house it still looked like it was day time as opposed to when the bomb went off. Like there’s a few hours in the timeline we haven’t seen. Could be entirely wrong though.
Didn't Cristobal walk into the house while Barry was on the phone with the bomb app technician? If so, that all occurred at night time, I believe.
Barry planted the bomb during the day but then he didn't get the issue resolved until nighttime. When Cristobal walked into the house, Barry was still on the phone with the help desk. It took so long to get the issue resolved that it became nighttime and Cristobal came home lol
