Extreme super early predictions anyone? I'm guessing next season will move away from the acting class and Barry acting in general because I'm guessing that Fuches kills Gene and Barry kills Fuches. Maybe if that happens Barry or Sally, if she hopefully doesn't live that lie they teased in the finale, ends up teaching the class themselves.
Am I wrong in saying I find Sally the most sympathetic? I'm glad she ended the season on a positive note
Yeah, I don't see Funches killing Gene either. If anything, Barry would end up having to kill Gene to save himself - which would be a moment. I'm interested to see where they go. I'm not even sure they know right now. I would like them to kind of narrow in or focus on one or two storylines because right now, they're kind of at three and I'm afraid eventually it's going to get sloppy with trying to deal with the acting class, Barry the hitman and the Russians. The acting class if by far what I'm least interested in. I'm not sure how much further they can take it. However, the overall synopsis of the show is a hitman trying to be an actor, so who knows?
Was it a positive note though? She seems more conflicted than ever. I took it as she was getting all this praise for the wrong reasons and didn't feel really good about it.
I like Sally quite a bit but her decision to slap Barry like that and then completely change the play she wrote and they practiced made me mad. I'm hoping that she sees all that praise for something fake as not as fulfilling as being an honest artist and tells the truth about what everyone saw.
I know it's fictional, but I do kind of feel bad for judging a woman who's been through an abusive relationship and saying "she should do this or that" or whatever, but I've been cheering for her almost the whole series so far and was just bummed that she stumbled in such a big moment. Everybody's human though, I guess.
Yeah Sally's ending was anything but positive unless you're only looking at it from the standpoint of her career advancement.
I feel like Cousineau will accuse Barry of killing his girlfriend but Barry can just say that it was the Chechens. Really not sure how they'll plan out season 3 but I'm excited.
What I thought for sure we were going to see at the end with Gene laying on the bed, but didn't, was flashbacks of Gene saying throughout the season 'Barry, you killed someone, and got away with it.' Gene will put what Funches told him, Barry's history and the fact that Barry was there the night she was killed all together.
I mean, Gene is way more likely to trust Barry than Fuches, so I could see a world where he confronts Barry, Barry says it was the Chechens, and Gene believes him. But at the same time, it's super suspicious that Barry, a trained killer, was alone at the cabin with them the same night that she went missing. So I don't know how easy it would be for Gene to swallow Barry's story at this point.
That last scene before he remembered that Fuches told him Barry killed her, I would have put money on Gene grabbing that gun we know he has and killing himself.
Yeah, it would have been extremely dark but I felt it was foreshadowed with the story of the gun from the earlier episode, Gene seeing her body and now having to confront the fact that she is dead and not just missing (which I'm sure was a lie he kept telling himself and trying to believe), and just giving up.
I watched everything last week and it was incredible This makes logical sense but would also suck so much dammit
Not sympathetic for me at all. I took her completely changing the acting scene, at least in part, as a result of her jealousy towards Barry. He got all of the credit for acting so well in it earlier this season, so she completely hijacked it, basically cut out any opportunity for him to shine, lied, and gave all of the screen time to herself. Yeah, she didn't seem 100% comfortable with it after the fact, but if this was supposed to be a showcase for all of the actors and Barry punted his own scene so he could help her with hers, it was a real dick move.
not calling anyone out but it's interesting how many people hate Sally but nobody hates Barry who's a sociopath
I won't like her as much if she actually follows the lie for stardom. Otherwise, I thought she became more likeable on most of the episodes this season.
