With this sort listing on the vinyl, I think we are gonna get a handful of musical interludes. Gold & Grey Vinyl Tracklisting: LP 1, Side 1: 1. Front Toward Enemy 2. I’m Already Gone 3. Seasons 4. Sevens 5. Tourniquet 6. Anchor’s Lament LP 1, Side 2: 1. Throw Me an Anchor 2. I’d Do Anything 3. Blankets of Ash 4. Emmet – Radiating Light 5. Cold-Blooded Angels LP 2, Side 1: 1. Crooked Mile 2. Broken Halo 3. Can Oscura 4. Borderlines 5. Assault on East Falls 6. Pale Sun LP 2, Side 2: Etching by John Baizley
Yea there has to be interludes. 20 mins a side. At first I was concerned they would cram it all on 3 sides, but that makes more sense. Preorders. I’m kind of disappointed in the variants, just because the artwork is so fantastic. The gold and grey clear splatter or 180g black are the only two that I would probably spring for.
On first listen, I wasn't into Borderlines, but I was also on a crowded, loud train ride into work. Will give it a proper listen later.
Of course the preorder goes up while I’m sleeping. Cool all sold of the good shit. Hopefully my record store gets a good variant
the addition of Gina on vocals is very welcome. do hope we get some sludgier guitars on this album, though.
I like Gina's vocal contributions on this new track, but at the same time, I'm missing the influence that Pete brought to the band with his fuzzier, sludgier guitarwork. It definitely shows, but I'm excited at the continued direction they're going in.
Song is great. It took me a few listens to get into but now I love it. The drums and bass in the last minute though...so good
