People have been guessing it could be orange for a while, but I think John has hinted it might not be a color, which could mean gray. Or, they'll throw us for a loop and do something unexpected like title it conventionally.
Because of the post? It's more likely a countdown using their other albums. Cursive did something very similar last year when they were prepping to announce Vitriola.
Gotta throw on Red today. I tried getting people into that album when I was at basic, but they just wanted to listen to Godsmack.
Enjoy! I haven't seen them with Gina yet, but they've always been very enjoyable in a live setting. They play with a ton of energy, and they seem genuinely happy to be up there performing their songs for people.
I'm sure it'll be a great time. I'm a fan of all 3 bands and I've seen Deafheaven a few times and they're always great. Seeing Baroness and Zeal and Ardor will just put it over the top.
Woah what the fuck Zeal & Ardor is crazy good. As if I wasn't already convinced by the headliners alone, these guys are awesome.
I took that post as more of a "since we're doing Pantone numbers already..." post, and not as the album title reveal. They still need to do Purple tomorrow, so I don't expect an actual reveal until Friday at the earliest.
Breaking the Silence: An Interview With Sebastian Thomson of Baroness | Byline Houston Found this in the baroness subreddit. Seems like Gina will be doing a lot more vocals, and the album was delayed but not because of the music itself. Even more stoked now
Looks like gold and grey (or maybe silver) if you go off of the Pantone numbers, though the text in the video also very prominently features orange. Maybe the numbers reference the song title, and not the album? So many possibilities...
Would be cool to get a gold and grey double album. I might have to pull the trigger and go to this tour, even though I am not crazy about Deafheaven.
The clip sounds decent. I was kind of hoping for an album announcement/single drop today so I'm a bit disappointed, but it is what it is. The prospect of another potential double album/longer release/enough to get a two color mention is intriguing though.
