the Alamo I saw it at was playing the song during their pre-show shenanigans. I was so confused until it happened in the movie

also I just got back from this and it rocked

I played the hell outta Mad Season and Yourself Or Someone Like You as a kid.

 

Mad Season is one of the first albums I ever owned. Got it and Dizzy Up The Girl on the same day.

My mother always had adult contemporary on the radio so we had Matchbox Twenty, Hootie and the Blowfish, and The Wallflowers on quite a bit.

I don't think I had heard Matchbox Twenty in years before this movie. Rob Thomas comes up a lot more in memes about the song Smooth he did with Santana.

 

I go hard for matchbox twenty and they still put on a great live show! And push is on the setlist and will prob be funner to see now!
