LOVED this holy cow every little movement, look, line, all of it from Gosling and Kingsley were hysterical Rhea Perlman’s Best Supporting Actress campaign starts right now, with me
Also, went to the restroom after, and the imax auditorium is right on the other side of the urinals and I 100% heard the end of Oppenheimer because the walls were shaking. Fun!
I work at a movie theater and we're allowed to dress up in pink/costume for the duration of this release and my coworkers have been going all out, it's amazing. I saw this at 8am on Friday, took my mom. We both LOVED this so, so, so much. Kate's Weird Barbie was my Barbie growing up. I caught my mom crying so hard during the Rhea Perlman scene at the end. I almost fell out of my seat during the Ken dance break. I have so many thoughts and feelings and this is seriously the best movie I've seen in a while -- and I've seen plenty of fantastic movies recently! This is all just a word salad to say I never expected to care this much about an actual Barbie movie. I'm going to see it again in a couple of hours.
Yea this movie kicked ass. There's a few little things I have nitpicks about but it doesn't detract from how great the movie is still.
Yeah this opening is insane, feels like a real event. At my theater there was a selfie station and a Barbie makeup stand lol
