I was really happy with Scream 2022. There were some missteps, but it was a fun revisit to a franchise I love made by capable people that are clearly huge fans. That said… I have zero desire to see more and wish they’d just leave it alone. Moving forward without Neve is a slap in the face. Just start a new franchise at that point and retrofit your ideas to it, it’s not like Hollywood is overloaded with original IP right now
Not aware if that is the case. Googled “neve campbell scream” and am not seeing any results more recent than august though
This was great. I had no idea Zach Cregger directed this till yesterday, made me kinda sad though I would have loved to watch Trevor and Zach go over it, would have been hilarious.
Yeah I love that the movie used what these two actors are known for as yet another way to subvert our expectations. Justin Long in this serves the same function as Bo Burnham in Promising Young Woman.
I can tell you one thing... she might not have gone down that tunnel in the first place. I said to my friend next to me, "Why is she going down there?!" And she replied, "She's thinking with her cooch!" Haha. I don't blame her though. Skarsgard is gorgeous and he was quite charming once they had that bottle of wine.
This was fine. You have to make quite a few leaps of logic, but it was an interesting exploration into Long's characters' morality.
Seems like no one can give a straight answer on if a physical release is even coming so if you’re that hungry there’s this cool boot up rn https://sloppysecondsales.com/index.php/product/limited-run-barbarian-2022-region-free-bluray-1080p/
