Just finished it. Holy shit lol

 

Fun movie.

 

Ah man I love this. Exactly what I wanted. So fun and fucked up and weird. This movie making it to theaters in 2022 is a blessing

 

After seeing this, how the fuck is your initial reaction to complain about plot holes? Cinemasins is ruining movie discourse

I saw this in theaters a little over a month ago. Really good, I think the first 90% ranges from very good to great, and the final 10% is a total faceplant looney toon mess. Will still probably end up in my top 20 though.

 

I don't do horror in theaters and yeah I wouldn't have made it

 

Agree with the people that said the third act kinda falls apart. But god damn the first two were terrifying

 

watching this with a crowd was a lot of fun but I think it holds up pretty well at home too

 

I would say if you're going into this expecting something very prestige horror like Hereditary/Midsommar/The Witch/ect hold your expectations. This is still really fun though.

 

This was fun, less horror than my friends were expecting (I had a feeling it wasn’t going to be super horror-y) but I enjoyed it.

 

This was exactly it for me. My expectations were so high from all the hype I was seeing, that I was anticipating something that would hit me like hereditary did. I feel like I have to resolve myself to the fact that it might not be topped for me anytime soon. Despite all that, I never felt disappointed during this. Thought it was all great. Really coulda gone an extra 20 mins as far as I’m concerned.

 

Definitely closer to stuff like Malignant and Titane, just so weird haha

 

This is better than “prestige horror”

 

You can say that if you’re content with being wrong

 

There's room for both kinds. And both can be good when well-executed.

 

I’d easily rewatch this over hereditary

 

Movie was dope

 

This movie gets the grant seal of approval.

 

Unpopular opinion I’m sure, but to me Hereditary gets weaker with each repeat viewing
