This kicks butt

 

This is really solid! “Tennis Fan” is an absolute bop but there’s lots of cool stuff on here. Been a really strong year for pop records already.

 

Can't decide how I feel about this. I dig the sound and I think there are a lot of neat ideas, but it didn't really come together for me as a whole package. The Cupcakke song was cool. I'll definitely give it another shot.

 

Really cool album, some obvious standouts on first listen

 

I think this is my favourite pop record so far this year. So many catchy and interesting songs and the interludes kinda sound like Pang or those acapella vocoder Bon Iver tracks

 

This, Dua and Empress Of are my top 3 pop records right now I think

 

This and Dua are top 2/3 for sure. I really like the Selena album too.

 

I like the Selena album but never really came around to more than "like" unfortunately, I was much more into the run of singles between her two albums than what the album turned into.
