How familiar are you with her back catalog? If you are how does this hold up stylistically or otherwise?
Loved the last one, that’s where I came in and went backwards. This one’s unique dark pop with lots of electronic experimentation and cool sounds.
Gotcha. I got into her right when Goddess came out and loved how subdued and chill it was. Feel like she's been leaning towards writing more bangers lately but I love those too so I think I'll be happy either way
It walks between those (literally only one listen) — some slow groves and a few legit songs that ... I’m doing it ... fuck.
I'm pretty sure I'm gonna like this album a lot more than The Altar just based on the three songs released so far
Yeah, this is really fucking good. Flawless production and way more interesting than The Altar (don't get me wrong, there are good songs on there, but it's just a little too generic in parts).
one of the downsides of having to work on my own music is not being able to listen to other music in the meantime! haha Guess I'll just wait until tomorrow and take it all in during a nice walk
