Resolution is an amazing record that never gets its due, that’s true. I remember even at the time of its release, people on AP were talking shit about it. It’s definitely their most mature album. But I’d still classify Life in Dreaming as underrated even if it is more acclaimed than Resolution, and it’s the album that sort of defines them in my eyes.
i think i read somewhere the band had broken up before it came out or something? if that's the case the album was basically dead on arrival.
yah and its as you said a mature album, SO good, i found it years later used on cd but i loved it right away. their newer EPs are good, but i still listen to both full length albums the most.
i miss Archimedes, Watch Out! these songs were off their EP 'A Face For Radio' that came out in 2010, they were based in Lubbock TX. they always reminded me of a mix of FYS/Farwell, anyone in here ever jam em?

God damn I appreciate this thread... spent the last few hours digging back through the pages. Finding stuff I haven't thought about in years. Don't be surprised if you see likes on posts you've made forever ago lol.
Got two more in that vein for you. Still sad the latter's EP never made its way onto streaming services as I always prefered it to the album and I lost it to long gone hard drives. One of the videos being uploaded by BryanStars... lmao the throwback
I remember getting both of the EPs that came out before the full length. I saw the 2 CDs on the ground while I was leaving a Warped Tour show. I picked them up and brought them home, and listened to them both a ton that summer.
another list of great picks! i still spin “Soundtrack to a Headrush” to this day Ten Underrated Records From Vagrant Records to Listen to While You Ride the Rails Out West (thehardtimes.net)
