Remember the band Automatic Loveletter?

 

I see they've been mentioned already but Daytrader is one I constantly think about, got to see them at a free show (thanks Zumiez) with The Wonder Years before they broke up.

 

Can't mention them without mentioning Some Stranger

 

oh wow this is a niche release, only 7 ratings on rym.

(though I guess Daytrader wasn't much better with 98 ratings for 12 years, talk about a forgotten band!)

 

Deadfriends by Daytrader is great. And yeah, so is Some Stranger

 

Juliet signed my arm after a concert in like 2006? I have a photo somewhere. Really liked her voice, especially on that ATL song.

 

Their second album Gentleman's Brawl literally so different to the first. Some decent songs like 'Party at Sean's House' but nowhere near as good as Kingdoms

 

Love Juliet! Such an interesting career and personal life yet don’t really hear much about her anymore.

So I completely forgot that Mobile was a band that existed and that I dug, and today I learn they actually dropped a new album a couple weeks ago, and I had no idea they were even coming back.

 

I miss Black Peaks

 

Arriving too late at an Architects concert they were opening for to catch their set is one of my big music regrets

 

I saw them once, opening for Deftones. They more than held their own.
