Never heard anything else from this band because I had no money and dial-up internet when they were around, but this song was a staple on my Winamp/PureVolume.
Was into both these bands. The latter is especially heartbreaking since the vocalist died of a stroke.
I remember those dudes handing out The Story and the Song CD's when people were exiting Bamboozle Left in 06 (we, of course, got one) and a couple of the members were like wtf are you doing? with the one handing it out saying might as well get our name out there one way or another. Great albums. Wish I'd see them live again.
I think I might spend some time combing back through this thread and rediscovering all these bands I've forgotten about over the years. Some real gems mentioned from the couple pages I've looked at. One band that I don't think has been mentioned yet is Kenotia. Just a single album, but I thought it was incredible and still spin it every couple of weeks.
Not according to the search function :P But yeah I always wished they'd done more, that was such a good debut.
Played this CD hard for a good stretch circa 2001/2002. Have no idea if anyone else listened to them or they went on to form other bands. Album was sent to me for free as a review copy for my music blog I ran in high school.
Randomly thought of Broadways debut album Kingdoms and just relistened last night. it’s definitely one of the best debuts of the scene imo, sucks they fell off so hard
