Listened to to Burn Piano Island Burn again recently, forgot how much I missed this band. My energy's different now than it was back then but its cool how to this day it's tough to think of anyone making heavy music that sounds like them.
Anybody remember Fletcher? Andy Hull made a long ass 2-part mix with download links and everything for an interview he did ages ages, circa 2009. Fletcher was on there and i think this album is a straight up banger. It turned into Colour Revolt, who i was never a giant fan of, but would have lved to hear more from this project. Also, that Andy Hull mix was super solid and ended up being a great intro to a bunch of new music for me.
I have been searching for this song for weeks and finally found it, I thought these guys were gonna be huge
The Sleeping’s recent instagram posts make me wonder if they’re coming back and/or recording new material. This one is from today
Sorry I'm replying to a super old comment but Saddle Creek just repressed all three albums and a "new" demos and c-sides record and I AM SO EXCITED ABOUT IT.
Listened today to This Road Before by the band God Or Julie, the best My Chemical Romance band that wasn't My Chemical Romance. Shame they never got any recognition.
Pompeii is good, their second album was amazing. Freelance Whales put out my favorite album of 2013 and then disappeared
