For some reason this popped into my head this morning.

 

listened to that album this weekend. still great. i saw them once and they were awesome. their tambourine broke and i took one of the little cymbals and the singer signed it haha.

 

anyone remember this band?

 

I loooved this album back in 2003

 

I don’t know where to post it in a way that makes it get the most attention on here, but Beloved just released their first song in 18 years.

Unfortunately only one new song. They tried writing a new record but basically said they didn’t have it them/couldn’t agree where to direction wise

 

I loved their full length. So good.

 

Yeah that doesn’t surprise me as they said in recent podcasts this reunion took a decade to happen. Must not be easy to get back to a creative place you haven’t been since you were a young adult.

Been listening to The Lonely Forest over the last couple of days. So many great songs.

 

PMToday is still a band. With a new name and a new sound. Not nearly my thing compared to PMT but at least the 3 brothers are still making music together.

Yep - Move Orchestra
First, a bit about yourselves… How long have you been a band, and how long have you been playing music? What inspired you to start playing music?

We are currently a four-piece group based out of Fayetteville, AR, made-up entirely of kin – siblings to be exact. We’ve actually only been in Move Orchestra about six months, since October of 2013, but prior to that, we played in a progressive rock band called PMtoday for eight years. We started playing music at the beginning of PMtoday, so I’d say [it’s been] somewhere around 11 years. We all got into music for different reasons, but for me, it was a band called Blink-182 that really influenced me to pick up the guitar. I remember riding in my dad’s SUV and hearing the first track on Enema of the State play through the truck’s speakers, and thinking that the guitar sounded so edgy and cool. I think the song was called “Dumpweed” and I remember my dad being really into that band as well. That may or may not have played a role in my liking the group.

 

Today, they’re called Hanson.

 

Stumbled down the Youtube hole and came across Ludo again.

 

Man they have some great songs. They still do a Halloween show every year in St. Louis and actually released a brand new song last year

 

How did I just find out that the Hurt Process are back together working on new music?! Loved those guys
