They just released Shrine B-sides to streaming last week, so I think we might be ok!

 

These two are classics.

 

That was basically the deluxe version of Shrine, so that been out for a long while. I'm hoping they'll continue to make new content because their stuff is good.

 

I’m sure they’ve been posted in this thread before but Grandview. ‘Everything Between Paint and a Wall’ is such an incredible album.

 

I really only ever knew "To The Sun" thanks to Discover Weekly but that song is gut wrenching.

 

Been listening to a ton of Underminded this week. This record was such a blast back in the day.

 

I won a t shirt and a signed poster by entering a, “take a pic with our new album,” contest. I miss the hell out of that band.

 

Do people know Fly Upright Kite or were they strictly local for us Bostonians?

Anyway listened to Every Breathing Moment again today and loved it more than I remembered.

 

Loved them, they had two great EPs with "Weightless' then they disappeared, a bit like Brightwood.

 

I need to go back to Weightless, too. Saw them at some shows in the area a million years ago and honestly hadn't thought of them in awhile.

I bought this album on compact disc from some used store, that's how cool I am

 

Purevolume days....

 

purevolume and MP3.com were the places i found a lot of the music i listened to back in high school.

 

Purevolume was probably the ONLY place where I found music back in high school. Really didn't know where else to look.

idk what made me think of Race the Sun today, but now I'm reliving 2003.

 

Sick of Sarah. I was so into them for a while. Last release was in an EP in 2015 and then they just seemed to stop being a band shortly afterward.

 

Randomly remembered that this band existed today.

 

THE HEYDAZE - They only released three songs to streaming (two original + one acoustic) back in 2016/2017 and then broke up at the beginning of 2018 (after which, they put some unreleased songs on SoundCloud). Nothing groundbreaking (lyrics are pretty cornball at times) but found their couple songs enjoyable and was bummed they never released an EP/album.
