I fear that The Republic of Wolves may be added to this list someday. They don’t seem to have anything on the go, I’ve seen no plans for more, so that may be it. So good. So Under appreciated. Never got the attention they deserved as a totally DIY band making great sounding records.
Just noticing that My American Heart has both they're first eps on Spotify now, I used to love this band. It's crazy that Brian from Weatherbox was a member at one point
It's always so bizarre to me when someone from a pretty popular band goes onto be in another popular band. Like the singer from Anatomy of a Ghost is also the singer from Portugal The Man. Makes no sense. haha.
I didn't realize it started a side project. Honestly I only heard about PTM in the last 5 years or so, I think. My wife is a big fan, and when I started looking into them a bit, I realized that John and Zach were both in Anatomy, which I was a big fan of back in the day. Haha. I was at this AOAG show... So crazy haha.
PTM is an all time fav for me, started listening to them with the first album after knowing Anatomy of a Ghost
I mention this alot, but i saw PTM play with Scary Kids Scaring Kids, and Lydia when I was like 15. Was one of my fave shows ever! It's wild how far PTM have come, after years they finally got that big single. It really goes to show that your small band should never give up.
Eagle Scout We Were Skeletons Junip Rat Path Every Atlas Fair to Midland Dark Dark Dark Late 00s - early 10s had so many awesome under-the-radar bands that unfortunately never quite took off
I second Eagle Scout, their one and only album had a quite a few songs that stayed on rotation for the following decade.
We Were Skeletons - Blame & Aging such a great album brings me right back to the winter it came out, wrecked me up nice Eagle Scout - New Hands for the bands only, relatively unknown album it is really good as well, can't believe it's a decade old

honored! Every Atlas is my old band! I still make music, for a while as thomas jefferson aeroplane and currently working on a solo album as Birthday Dad.
Hundred Reasons are amazing. I still listen to them often. Last weekend, I was randomly reminded of Kill Hannah and listened to them for a bit during the day, haha. What a throwback.
Will keep an eye on those projects, thanks for the heads up! Glad to hear that This song was very important to me when it came out and helped to get me through some harsh days during real dark years, so thanks for that
