I always have the tendency to come to this forum all drunk in the dead of night and post my bands, but Tonight I’ve finally become a lil bit more mature/and realized that I always post the same bands that I miss lol. I’m fucked up and have nothing to contribute atm haha
Not related, but I heard a soothing sound as I was sleeping (almost like a little stream) and it was my dog (Tobey the shih Tzu) peeing in my bed! He’s never done that before, but he is 16, so I’ll let it slide. Now I’m up, having to wash my sheets and covers. Guess I should pour myself another glass of wine lol
Ah! I loved Jupiter Sunrise. Jet Lag Gemini was awesome too. I played a solo show with that band once, along with The Morning Of and Zolof the Rock and Roll Destroyer. Awesome lineup.
Remember A Hope For Home? I think I posted about them a few months back, but it looks like they were planning something this year Scrolling through their twitter, they wanted to celebrate that record in July, and seem to be writing new material.
Matt from the band has said in Instagram live videos they are writing a new record. They were suppose to do an anniversary show for Realis with The Beautiful Mistake in Portland but cancelled due to COVID. It had never been announced but he said that in a Instagram live stream, I guess he is friends with one of the dudes from the Beautiful Mistake
Audio Learning Center - They never fit in with the rest of Vagrant's roster but the two albums they released were solid, no frills indie rock.
Man that's awesome. I listened to their entire discography for the first time in almost a decade yesterday and got so pumped. Hopefully they can manage to make their plans work for next year then.
1 band who might fallen under this category, but surprisingly just released their 1st new album in 9 years is BRUCE PENINSULA
Between Home & Serenity. Can’t say I really love(d) this band, however, I remember a younger me being obsessed with this album in 2005
One of my favorite bands, for sure! Andrew went on to do a project called The Wooden Birds after AmAnSet was done. It was also fantastic. Find and listen to that stuff if you haven't already!
Yes, and I wish I still remembered how he got that nickname again. I asked in another thread a while back, and no one knew.
