Anyone remember American Verse or know what happened to them? Their "Heaven's In Your Head" EP was great. And Matty Mullins (AL4W) sang on the song I linked.
Yeah, what the heck? I thought they were supposed to be doing a full length after that short EP they put out.
Yeah last I heard they were working on a full length. I’m guessing they aren’t in a huge rush considering all of the other projects they’re involved with.
I really enjoyed The Braces debut/only album and I couldn't for the life of me remember their name until I went through my last.fm listening history. Revisited the album two weeks ago and was pretty into it still Sucks they never got off the ground
Holiday Parade The Morning Of Jason Lancaster Cartel (where the hell did they go? I guess they're playing Warped at Sea, but are we getting an album at some point?) Select Start I legit thought these bands were just going to keep getting bigger and bigger, but they just kind of went away. Also, I think they're still technically active, but at some point The Summer Set fell off everyone's radar, which was weird because their last album had some legitimately great songs.
I miss the morning of so badly. I was just listening to them the other day and got really bummed because they’re so good, but couldn’t quite get off the ground.
They said something about writing new tunes on their FB a while ago, but, who knows. I agree, they were tight. Would have loved another LP.
Awesome! Have you ever listened to the band Long Since Forgotten? They sound very similar, but they've also disbanded... BUT STILL! great band!
Farewell I think their two full lengths are some of the best Pop Punk releases of the mid-late 00s. The singer Marshall was diagnosed with cancer in 2010 or so, but was eventually cleared and the band was writing a new album as of 2013. I haven't heard anything since, though. I hope all is well with them.
Woah I haven't heard that name for a long time damn. So many good bands in this thread that completely slipped my mind over the last few years.
Threw on Conditions - Fluorescent Youth over the weekend, surprised by how well the album stands up. Stinks their second album was so middle of the pack
man that's one i haven't thought about since my purevolume days. does anyone know what happened to pentimento? i feel like i missed something but can't find anything more recent than a year ago.
I miss Pentimento a ton. I don't think they're completely done, but with them being the backing band for Reggie and the Full Effect, they really haven't had a chance to do anything it seems
oh i see. thanks for that, i've been wondering a long time. another one for me is polar bear club. and make do and mend - for me, their last album was kinda forgettable, but i still love everything you ever loved.
