As much as I love As Tall as Lions, their end felt very official and calculated. Didn't feel like they just faded away.

Thats because you were reading news about them on this website and everyone was getting sad and making a big deal out of it. I was actually going to their local shows and the attendance was dropping every time I saw them, the last time I saw them was in a relatively solid sized room and literally half the room was empty. I could have played catch in the middle of the floor lol

 

I met an ex on stickam once because she was screaming along to one of their songs lol to be 15

 

"good news and bad news" was a jam

 

Scream And Light Up The Sky was such an important album to me. I would love more material from them.

Mannnn what happened to Just Surrender?! I randomly just remembered them and put this album on. Lots of memories blasting this thing in my shitty car while driving 3 hours to see my out of state girlfriend all the time.

 

This band was always so good live, last saw them open for matchbook romance when they reunited and got a $5 shirt. They just pretty much faded away.

 

Vaux just came on shuffle. They were good

I listened to Goodnight Witness Light by Daphne Loves Derby on my commute yesterday. I feel like their name dates them moreso than the music does, I forgot how great the hook on "Stranger You and I" was.

 

Anyone remember a band called Brazil? They released two fairly excellent proggy-post-hardcore albums, A Hostage and the Meaning of Life (2004) and The Philosophy of Velocity (2006), and then they disappeared. RIYL: At the Drive-In, Circa Survive, Coheed and Cambria

Great band. "Crime (and the Antique Solution)" is such a jam.

 

I feel like Park should have gotten way bigger. This album is a classic amongst my circle of friends.

Pretty sure they've been mentioned in the last few pages, but holy fucking Secret & Whisper. I've had their discography on shuffle+repeat nonstop for the last 2 weeks.

Oooh, I still love their first full lenght. Got any idea about what happened to them or what the members are doing now?
