Never listened to a single other song by 36 Crazyfists but rediscovered this one recently. Worth getting through the so-2001-Nu-Metal-it-hurts vocal warbling in the verses for that incredible chorus.

I stand by their first 3 albums being one of the best 3 album runs in metalcore.

    Yeah, 36 Crazyfists are dope.

Also, will not stand for this besmirching of 2001 nu-metal.

    The season is never over.

Brock's cleans are not the most "accessible" upon first listen, seeing them live helped me overcome that on a personal note. Obviously you can't do that @Paulms85 as they're not active, but if you can tolerate them on that single you like then I would definitely check one record out at least.

'Bitterness The Star' is a little more gritty, but plenty of standout moments.

'A Snow Capped Romance' tends to be the fan favourite.

'Rest Inside The Flames' is my personal favourite, with some of their biggest hooks and one of the best album openers of that era in my opinion.

Hey this isn’t really a band I loved but this might be the best thread for it.

I remember a band I kind of liked that got cancelled, all I remember is that I think a touring member was accused of sexual assault and they basically said hey we don’t care, and then their career kind of collapsed.

I think they had a second album coming out around the time this broke, but they were still pretty new. It’s not Set It Off, but that name reminded me of them, so I think it’s something like that. Like generic or a few short words. I just can’t think of the name so it’s really bothering me.

Company Of Thieves broke my heart the most because I felt they should have been MASSIVE

Genevieve is also my favorite frontwoman of all time

Are they the ones that had the album with Brad in the cover and it was called Milk or something?

Anyone in here remember 1997? I went to high school with the original lineup and have known their drummer Nick since elementary school. I recently ran into him at my job and hadn’t seen him since that band was still active. I didn’t recognize him at first, but I said I liked his hoodie because it had an octopus on it, he then asked if I was who I was, and then he told me his name and then it all clicked. We had a nice catch up, asked about each other‘s families, and each other and then he went on his way. And then the very next day, I just happened to pop into half-price books after I got off work, It’s literally across the street from where I work and I find this. The universe works in strange and mysterious ways.

Really loved their first album! Wishing Well will consistently randomly pop into my head every so often.

i remember seeing them live with Aiden and some others back in the day. I weirdly remember the drama surrounding Alida and her boyfriend leaving the band at the same time or something

Yeah Alan (bassist) and her dipped at the same time. I don’t believe they are still together. But then 1997 had the record of having a different female vocalist/keyboardist on all of their albums lol
