They'll put out that new album someday!

 

That album was incredible.

 

Like others on here, I loved Casey by Rise of Science.

Randomly ran across Reddit that he murdered his father and attempted to murder his mother.

only see a couple posts mentioning this band on here so just throwing it here.

I hadn’t thought of that band in years! I had the album on Apple at some point, but it looks like it disappeared. Wild story.

 

I remember sending them $10 in the mail in 2006 and they sent me back their self-titled album! That first album is great

 

These guys were so rad! What happened to the singer?

Going on a massive deep dive on my mid 2000s Myspace era and just a ton of lost/gone music

 

sure this is probably a repost but whatever

 

I only remember like 3 songs from this band, but boy did I wear them out in the Purevolume era, this one still pops into my head every now and then

 

i'm not sure if this band was popular during their time but they were my favourite in high school. it's insane that the singer matt musto became blackbear.

 

Ethel Cain was posting about her love for Kye Kye on Tumblr, and it made me revisit this beautiful album for the first time in a decade. God, i wish they'd do a 4th album.

Their newest album came out of nowhere considering they had been inactive for so long. I hope they surprise us once again with another release further down the line

 

i gave it a listen a couple years ago and loved what i heard. need to revisit it soon

 

Holy shit, I forgot about Kye Kye. I don’t know much about Ethel Cain but it seems a surprising recommendation from her

 

if you search for his name on Spotify podcasts he had a series a few years back explaining everything that happened in his career. Worth the listen

 

spin Preacher's Daughter ASAP. one of the best debuts in years.
