CKY has some all time riffs

 

My little brother’s band opened for them and Madcap once in Cleveland.

 

man. this was a brutal read.

 

I have no idea how CKY got a major-label deal. They could not be more of a fish out of water on one.

 

wasnt this a minor radio hit for them?

 

Will always be disappointed this band didn't keep going and didn't get any traction. This album has some really interesting stuff on it.

 

I'm kinda disappointed that they talk about Innerpartysystem and don't even mention the chocolate 7" they put out.

The way they do genre shifts mid song is so wonderful. I can't believe how versatile they were.

They announced making new music years ago on Facebook and then disappeared so I don't think that's ever happening.

 

Highly suggest the last song if you like good brass and some breakdowns where people just jam out and go hard

This Day and Age is probably the reunion I want most at this point, but I’m sure it’ll never happen.

 

TD&A singer seems to have leaned deep into his religion.

 

The bassist who is now in The Reign of Kindo had a big anti-vax thing last year too.

I randomly saw this band play in 2008. First time I’d ever seen a band sync their performance to a video playing behind them.

 

heck yes! I loved this band. Would have been stellar to see a 3rd album from them. Jean Val Jean came on my shuffle the other day and I was still floored by it.
