Just FYI to everyone that @Crisp X has made me aware that the band commented that they and the label actually have no connection to this and someone uploaded it without their permission.
I thought for sure they would have been mentioned here before, but I'm not seeing any mention of Hey Mercedes, the spinoff of Braid. I've been playing Everynight Fire Works and Loses Control recently which has me hardcore missing this band. A really good blend of emo-pop, pop punk, and indie rock.
Oh! That's shitty! Wondering if the remaster is also done behind their back hahh, weird. But I will give it a quick listen before it disappears, cause I don't think I've even heard that EP at all. Seems it's only 1 year older than their debut LP, but it's quite "scene" sounding. I do surely miss this band and somehow I didn't notice From The Bird's Cage turned 10 last year
There's a possibility it's not even a remaster and the guy who uploaded it just added that in the title to help the songs get approved by Spotify (I don't know shit about this, just wondering)? I haven't listened to it in a very long time so I can't tell if anything sounds different
Started missing Artifex Pereo very badly last night. Spinning Time in Place this morning and will probably do a discog run. Such an underrated record. Can't help but feel like if they were on EqualVision or something they would have had a little longer career.
I was just revisiting them for the first time in awhile the other day. Such a good band. The drummer posted this on Reddit like two years ago I think, if you’re wondering what some of them may be up to.
Reading the name Artifex Pereo suddenly gave me flashbacks of a band I haven't thought about in a long time

Really happy I saw them in 2007 because there's no way I could travel for that, but awesome that it's happening.
I’ve been doing a 2014 re-listen and I’ve come up on a few of these “wow I forgot about them but they’re great and really should have put out more than 1-2 albums” bands so far Arthur Beatrice Snowmine US Royalty
I miss US Royalty a bunch. They were local to me and I saw them a handful of times, great live band. Mirrors was such a cool record. Never really got into the second one, should probably revisit that. The two brothers that were in the band were releasing singles for a while as Born Rivals, but it looks like that fizzled out in 2019. Half the songs they released aren't even on streaming anymore.
The whole second album doesn’t hit for me, but Into The Thicket might be my favorite song of theirs Foreign Air seems like it’s doing reasonably well at least, which I hadn’t until this week made the connection was another of the band members!
