Bands you loved that faded away

Who are some bands that you loved that never got big and ended up breaking up?

A band that comes to mind:
JINXED - Jinxed on PureVolume
I loved this band back in the early 2000s. An all-girl rock band that was signed to 111 Records.

Another band I was obsessed with back in the early 2000s was a Swedish one-man-band called Ariel Kill Him.

 

The Forecast

I absolutely loved them in high school and would listen to Late Night Conversations constantly in 2005 and then they just kind of disappeared after they left Victory Records.

 

the Felix Culpa. it baffles me that that band never became like a quintessential band of our scene.

 

Not really, they put out two fantastic records better than their victory stuff afterwards

right, but i definitely think they kind of faded away in a sense. and regardless, i still cant believe "Sever Your Roots" didnt become something bigger than it is.

did you listen to the split? They were so good live touring on that, that radio show they did was one of the best sets I put on

 

never heard the split, what year was it put out?

 

Oh, also, PMToday is another band that comes to mind

 

The Taco-King enjoyed some In Fear and Faith. Wish they got bigger before ending.

 

Lorene Drive still breaks my heart. I caught about 20 seconds of Hollywood Undead at Rock in Rio last year, and it actually hurt me to see Daniel up there with that hot mess. Glad he's making money, though.

There's a band called Kerbdog who I discovered a long time after they initially disbanded. They wrote a great record called On The Turn, which should've been HUGE but sold poorly for various reasons and they got dropped by their record label before disbanding a while later.

CRAP, HOW THE HELL DID I FORGET REUBEN?!!! They're probably in my top three bands and I didn't think of them!!!

What a band though. Anyone who hasn't listened to them is sorely missing out.

 

Park. Even though they did release something a few years ago, I want a full album like "It Won't Snow Where You're Going".

 

Their discography is brilliant. They're one of my all-time favorite bands and Jamie Lenman's solo record is also great. There's a reunion I've always hoped would happen.
