He responded to someone asking about potential issues from using four different ticketing platforms for one event and he called them an idiot and troll and said all events of this magnitude use multiple ticket platforms which the person pointed out was a complete lie.
He blocked the person who asked the question so its no longer there, but of course there is screencap of it!
My favorite part of his midnight meltdown was John D replying to his own comment using the Bamboozle account
Literally anything that is asked, even if it’s valid is a troll or someone “doesn’t know how Bamboozle works”
It seems all the bands that played the final of The Break contest will play Bamboozle. They are getting close to actually have 100 acts in the lineup
Yea local bands and local djs comprising 2/3 of the lineup after some folks had to pay $400 for a weekend ticket.
incredibly valid question btw, I’ve never heard of any festival using 3 different ticketing platforms
I only remember the early pass being through one specific website for a limited time. The regular tickets always being on livenation since they are a part owner? I don’t understand the “it’s always been on multiple websites” thing. I think it’s wild that if someone asks a real question because you have no customer service, you act like a complete asshole to them. That’s what weirded me out about the post yesterday where he said “we're monitoring behavior of those who interact with our posts” like what a creepy thing to say. Especially from a guy who thinks he’s clearly done nothing wrong lol
I was bored last night and was scrolling through John D’s personal IG. It’s crazy the amount of times in the last year he made posts alluding to these huge headliners…..and he still hasn’t deleted the posts lol
I just found out John D was doing this festival last year. It seems it got cancelled because he stopped posting about it 2 months prior the festival date. I tried to dug more information but there is no word on the cancellation nor refunds.
I don’t think bamboozle ever sold out, even when they had really good bands playing. That’s just always been their mo. Somehow they always made it work, even when it was packed with people. Everything was always very spread out.
Seems like Boys Like Girls dropped off? Not listed on the poster anymore. https://www.facebook.com/1000641726...LayBwWXPmqV9Vhst3g9fUFVE7uBl/?mibextid=cr9u03
