I’m glad he would spend the lawsuit winnings on more amusement rides instead of more artists at a music fest
That reads like a 12 year old talking shit in a COD lobby. I’m no lawyer but I know at least half of the terms he used were made up by him- not used by an actual lawyer. he also says “the first lawsuit of its kind”, which is a hell of a flex in a country where precedence is key to winning 99% of cases and where he’s essentially challenging someone’s first amendment rights.
If his lawyers are good enough to get from process serving to court in two weeks, he may just be right though. That’s easily a 8-18 month process, minimum, haha.
You certainly don’t need to be a lawyer to know this is completely delusional. The only logical explanation would be if John D is confusing him with that fake IG account that’s offering people fake tickets to the fest. But most likely John D is just trying yet again to intimidate another fan who was duped.
I am a lawyer and it really just seems like he googled some things but has no clue what they mean. For instance tortious interference of a contract is a thing but I can’t even begin to understand how he thinks it would apply to them. And I don’t know how they are getting liens before a judgment.
By the way if you check their socials, it seems they definitely let go whoever was running them originally and now John D is controlling them. Calling people jackasses and losers. It’s pathetic. These attacks, plus the fact that they’re trying to renegotiate their guarantees with artists, plus the fact that all these artists are offering discounted passes…..yeah, this is getting cancelled.
I am also confused what legal teams and publication he is talking about? At first he makes it sound like some publication was the one filing the lawsuit. I am so confused by that line of thinking.
The comment from Scamboozle really sticks out to me. You mean John D is DMing people and threatening them? Like, holy shit. How tf can a 50-something dude actually do something like this. At this point, I think less that John D is a bad businessman/promoter. He just has some serious issues…
What I think he's trying to imply is that a publication outed information about the person who is running that account. And that they will be running a story about the lawsuit? That's my read on it at least. Could be wrong, could be correct. Only John D knows. LOL
I mean, let's not forget that he called people out in a video posted on their socials using their actual Twitter handles. That didn't come off as a threat by any means. But the whole vibe was so incredibly "off." At the time, I think it came off as just "LOL look at the boomer being all boomer" but with this info... It hits different.
I assume that is what he means. But he also starts off making it sound like he just found out about this happening and that a publication was actually involved in the lawsuit. In reality, not even John D know what he meant to say.
It’s def low key will end up being one of the sadder stories at the end of the year. So much what could have been? And the legacy will be even further tarnished by the end of all this.
I think he’s just angry because cancellation is imminent and he thinks that account has to do with the poor ticket sales lol
John D sounds like he’s on cocaine lol I hope this gets cancelled I wanna see what excuse he uses lol
Those messages sound like they’re from someone who’s using. This is sad for the festival to go out like this.
If you’re within 50 days of your event taking place and are blaming your low ticket sales on an Instagram account with less than 500 followers… you might be John D
