WOW. So essentially you can buy 3 day tickets now for $257....that's almost 40% cheaper than the tier 1 passes were.
And again I think if this fest was priced at $257 from the get go there wouldn't be so much backlash or criticism. It would just be a mid tier local festival at a reasonable price geared towards people not traveling from beyond the tri state area. But I think it's too late for them to shift the narrative. They can drop prices to $100 with no change, people have stopped listening.
No matter what the outcome of the fest is. Whether it’s cancelled, or if it goes on, I bet John D flees the country
If you listen to the youth ahead on Mike Doyles podcast, he is basically blamed for them never getting bigger looks. Dudes been screwing this scene for years
So heard it from a well known source who I trust, to at least be passing along correct info. But they have begun renegotiating payments for bands scheduled to play this. Which means many things. Obviously it’s not selling well, there will inevitably be some performers who pass and drop off, this thing is officially a few steps away from being canceled. I wouldn’t be buying tickets for this anytime soon.
They just snuck Blackbear and Oz Pearlman off the poster. No announcement or anything that a headliner dropped.
They never addressed Ice Spice dropping neither, but they were saying on the IG comments that no artist have dropped off the line up lol
I thought about going Saturday for Limp Bizkit, Flyleaf, GCW Carnifex, Chelsea Grin, and Ox Sulfur, plus a buddies band is playing. But honestly I’d be concerned about even getting my money back at this point.
I'm baffled every time this thread is bumped. I just can't believe how much of a shit show this is. Has to get cancelled, right?
Best case scenario is it’s get cancelled and then some cool one day bills start to pop up at Starland/Stone Pony/White Eagle Hall. Finch & Saosin double bill in Jersey City gimme gimme gimme!
It’s unfortunate that twitter isn’t working, I was hoping to be able to read more drama about the festival lol it’s been really entertaining to watch this whole thing play out.
I remember when they had one of those skate and surf festivals in the 2010s, I got the early tickets and because of that, I got a vip bracelet. Foolishly thinking it would be like bamboozle when they had those giant tents with entertainment, water, games and snacks. Instead, it was a friggin wooden shed with some small water bottles and a bench to sit on lol they promised things like you could watch bands from the side stage, meet artists, and exclusive signings or hangouts etc. they even forgot to give me the free shirt and I had to call them out on social media for them to do that. It was the most meh festival I’ve ever been to. Never went to anything affiliated with them again. The last bamboozle I went to was in 2011, it’s a shame that this experience & others have ruined such positive memories for so many music fans. I hope the festival gets cancelled with full refunds.
I went to bamboozle in 06 and 08, and they were two of the best weekends of my life. Especially in 06, that fest seemed larger than life. It’s sad to see what it’s become. He should’ve just let it stay an awesome memory
lol no chance that there's an actual lawsuit coming... he wouldn't (couldn't?) be dumb enough to then reach out to the person he's "suing" right?
