For Bamboozle's sake, I really hope this is just a poster goof. Or that one of the 10 days is a lump of smaller bands or something because... Ooohf.

 

I still can't believe they chose December 23rd to make their next lineup announcement. It could be the greatest announcement ever and it'll still get lost in the midst of Christmas weekend. Hardly anyone is checking music publications this weekend, and they certainly aren't buying $400 festival tickets.

Instead of pouring money into stupid things like amateur wrestling or tik tok dance competitions, they could've invested it into business necessities.....like a marketing director.

 

They could’ve just given the money to me so I could book them a better lineup

 

It actually makes a lot of sense when you remember that john d is a dumbass

 

99% of the time when I hear this, I roll my eyes and consider it armchair quarterbacking. I would normally tell you that way more goes into making a festival than we think, and that it’s important to have connections in the industry and experience as a promoter.

But I think the Bamboozle team is *just dumb enough* and the average person on chorus is *just smart enough* that this time, I agree. Any one of us probably could have cut a lot of the fat from this festival, booked a better lineup, and spitballed a smarter marketing strategy.

 

As someone who is literally addicted to concert announcement news and only spends about 5 minutes during the holiday season with my family. I'm kinda happy there doing this. Cause then I'll at least get to feel like I'm being drip fed concert news for the week haha.

From John's post looks like at least 20 bands and 1 headliner over Christmas week

 

This shit show is my bday weekend and we already booked the room and took the time off so we’re pretty dead set on trying to make the best out of this and all things considered, Pitbull would honestly be a welcome addition to this. Limp Bizkit and Mr Worldwide on the same poster is peak humor.

 

Pitbull is actually a very based headliner.

Also if this is true, it looks like Pitbull has already hit New Jersey with 3 headlining ampitheater shows in the last year. Plus a few in NY. Again just seems like John D is gonna be grabbing a lot of artists at cheaper prices due to market saturations on their current tour cycles. (Which makes me think they'll have MCR too).

 

Truly baffling, like who is the target demo for this fest?

It’s already 4pm and there’s been no announcement.
When I was in high school we’d play shows at teen centers and I swear those were promoted better than this festival.

We're all probably just looking in the same old boring places that all other festivals post their updates. Facebook, Twitter, Instagram. The festival's official web site. Press releases via news organizations.

It's really our failing. Clowning around isn't that serious, you guys, and Bamboozle is looking toward the New Future of Technology! There is a buzz and the buzz is a clown buzzer so you guys better get on it and find the new social media... Or else...

VIPs will hear first. Bamboozle is looking toward the future. Find the new social media to find the line-up. That's what we need to do.
