I really think this was a scam all along. NFT tickets? That should’ve been the immediate red flag.
And not having secured insurance or permits months in advance? Just really feels like he knew all along this wasn’t gonna actually happen, and he was trying to milk as much money as he could before cancelling and filing for bankruptcy

It’s amazing how quickly the vendor tries to make it right once they get contacted by AmEx’s legal team. Paid for a $5000 repair on my car, the mechanic broke something else while fixing that, then tried to blame me. Got my $5000 back real fast. Ended up only paying for parts for the original problem and the one they created.

This is exactly what just happened to me lol. Merchant wasn’t responding for days and then answered within hours of me putting in the dispute. Then he sent a separate email pretending like he had just seen the chargeback hahah
