I usually play thief/rogue characters, but trying something new here and playing a Druid, wild shape has always seemed like a lot of fun. not sure if I want to use my subclass to focus more on shapeshifting or casting. Haste seems like it’s going to be so OP, so I’m leaning casting. this is my first Baldur’s Gate, or any RPG of this king really, and I’m loving it so far
Is this game accessible at all for someone who is usually intimidated by these kinds of rpg’s? I’ve heard playing on easy mode is the way to go.
Yes especially on easy mode. I’ve played a handful of them and outside of Tyranny this is by far the most accessible one I’ve played
I save scummed to get the correct shadowheart romance outcome toward the end of act 2 and I have zero regrets
I wrecked the goblin camp and am moving on to the underdark but seem to have missed the vampire dude entirely?
I have to admit I'm sadly running out of steam with the game. I'm mid act 3 and like I have to make myself play it. Everything is either annoying or difficult in a way I don't enjoy. Also the story feels like it is kinda taking a backseat. Kinda sad :/ Not like I can watch the ending anywhere since... ya no.
CRPG's are realllly hard to see to completion for most people (including me) which is why Tyranny is the best one to start with because its about a 20 hour campaign
I’m middle of act 2 and the difficulty spike has been not fun, even on the easier difficulty. Still enjoying it but I’m not as addicted as I was at the start.
Shit can go sideways real fast huh…I banged a party member then had to kill them to protect another one within a 2 night span.
