ain't it sweet is one of their best songs y'all c'mon this is also stellar. crazy the frequency at which we're getting new music. never expected this much so quickly.
I like but don’t love this album but it is cool how active they’ve been. Maybe it’ll click in the future
If you were to sequence Savior Mode, Last to Know and Alive & Well into WYIS, how would you go about it?
i wouldn't. I would build a playlist and put it in the order of recording... Alive & Well, Savior, Last, WYIS... Alive goes into Savior surprising well IMHO
How the fuck would we know if no one answered you yesterday? Ask the band on socials..they’re the ones that know.
Love this track but it’s definitely not better than anything off WYIS. ain’t it sweet, believe the hype, closer to god, and the title track are all *chefs kiss*
It's fine if you don't like WYIS but saying it doesn't have hooks is hard for me to understand. Every single song has a catchy chorus.
"no hooks" is exactly how I've felt after multiple listens of WYIS, nothing sticks in my head. "Alive and Well" is definitely a step back in the direction I prefer for them. Nothing really hits for me like it did from the beginning of the band through TTWTWM, though; it is what it is.
The last album was my first experience with them and while I really like the general vibe and enjoy the first few tracks, over the course of the album it feels like a slog. If there was even a little variety I'd be ranking this much higher. By no means bad, but doesn't work for a full album for me. New single feels much the same for me.
Im probably in the minority here but the majority of WYIS is very hook-laden to me. Most of the choruses are actually stuck in my head and quite easy to sing along to when playing the record through. Believe the hype, a little of myself, cross to bear and sorrow machine are the most apparent of the bunch.
I wouldn't mind seeing the Audiotree Far Out session getting a pressing...that is if they included the version of Restless they did but didn't release.
This song is so cool, it's almost like it has two choruses, but I think the first catchy part is the verse, then there's the quiet pre-chorus, then the tribal drum part they do a lot is the chorus? It's not super evident on the first listen, at least for me, but I like that about it.
We got an awesome set in Little Rock on Monday night. They sounded so good and Jon’s energy was incredible. Tiny Raindrop Afterparty any means believe the hype a little of myself Back of Your Head cross to bear Savior Mode Reflection restless Postcard
