The only time I saw B&C headline a tour they played with Daylight (before they were superheaven) and The Jealous Sound but they have toured with some pretty big bands so I'd agree with the thread in being surprised that they aren't bigger. Really feel like their change in tone had a lot to do with that.
The best time i saw them was when them and Title Fight went on a coheadliner right after TTWTWM and Floral Green came out. That was the last "aggressive" setlist I saw them play.
Yeah they really toned it down after that tour. They did a one off on the Circa/Chon run in 2015 and they played a bunch of the aggressive stuff that night, but when I saw them play the next night on the actual tour it was mostly low-key tracks.
First time I saw them was so great. Fireworks, Polar Bear Club, Balance, and MDAM (holy tour) and they played a bunch from separation and rope, which is so cool live.
First time I saw them Seperation had just came out and the line up was La Dispute, MDAM, B & C and Lifestory Monologue. Great show.
Never saw them pre-Separation Opener for Circa on the Violent Waves tour Headliner w/ Jealous Sound & Daylight Co-Headliner w/ Title Fight Opener for ManOrch on the Cope tour (favorite) Opener for Circa on Descensus tour Headliner w/ local support Headliner w/ Foxing Opener for Circa/Thrice
Fireworks tour title fight tour coheed tour manchester tour circa descensus tour circa / chon tour I think that's it?
I'm unfortunately not very excited to see them on this tour. That set is certainly underwhelming, and I'm almost positive they played all of the same songs minus the LWM stuff on the last Circa/CHON tour.
Saw them in May on their headlining tour so that’s why I wasn’t too mad on Friday for missing them. Balance put on a great show on that tour. Opened with Midnight Zone, and the whole crowd was entranced from there on. Everyone moshed during Tiny Raindrop, and Seperation songs. It was honestly one of the funnest shows I’ve been apart of. I would be really sad if they broke up.
Also that show I never heard/saw From Indian Lakes before. They were awesome live, and now I’m a fan.
First time I saw them was the same tour, but Such Gold was in over MDAM. Was also my first show as a college student too so I have super fond memories of it. B&C had the quietest reception of any band, but watching them grow after that was something else. They opened for La Dispute a few months later and the crowd was good, then opened for Circa and Touche and people were going off, then the headliner which they sold out.
First time I saw them was right when the TJ split came out and they played on the floor to like 40 people it was awesome Citizen opened as the local of the show but they were an easy core band at the time lol
I've only seen balance once opening for Manchester in like 2014 or 15 and they sucked but I love balance and love lwm and for opening band their set list looks good and I'm excited to see them but am not surprised they may break up
This might sound weird but I was listening to Congratulations by Post Malone and couldn't stop thinking about how the vocal melodies sound like something you could hear on this album. Maybe I'm crazy and I only hear similarities bc he has a similar timbre to Jon
