Nah it's good Seem Balance tonight. Haven't returned to this record as much as I'd hoped but thinking that might change after I catch some of these songs live!
This is easily my most listened to album of the year, which I was not expecting to happen prior to release.
I was lukewarm on postcard when it was first released, and their set at Riot Fest was a little boring which definitely lessened my hype for this. Which is partly why it took me so long to get around to it. I gotta say I was pleasantly surprised. I think I still prefer their sound on Separation and TTWTWM, but this is interesting. Excited to see how I feel after a few more listens.
I liked it when it was released but I've really grown to love it. Also, I made a playlist on spotify of my favorite 2016 songs, and Postcard flows really well into We The People by Tribe.
Just revisited this today and I still love it. This is the first release of their's I've really gotten into
lol i had my phone under my arm and somehow junk posted on this thread twice and opened up the buick find your car website (i dont own a buick)
Keep expecting to get sick of this album but it has a surprising amount of staying power. Looking like making my EOTY top 10 at this stage.
Finally got around to this. Midnight Zone has such a stellar chorus. Listen more to get into it but right now its about a 6.5-7/10
Yeah already on my second listen and its certainly improving. There are a lot of small things that are really cool (like the screaming in "For A Walk") that it takes a bit. I still stand by the statement that Midnight Zone is the best song on this thing.
