Haha literally was about to post in this thread saying something to the effect of "unless people start getting their preorders I doubt this will leak"

Sorta glad to be wrong. Leaving work in a few minutes, timing couldn't be better haha

 

Two listens down. And I think it's their strongest release.

Singles (at least in my mind) ended up being the weaker songs.

After one listen, I think the opposite. But I'm usually slow to liking new things so I will give it time.

 

damn For A Walk is fuckin killer. this is gonna be a great fall album

 

For A Walk is almost too Radiohead. Not quite but almost.

Some of this sounds like Underoath if they didn't play metal.

 

So is this good or what? Feel like there's a bit of a chance it's not.

This was... interesting. I'm gonna spend some time with this one before I try to formulate and express some actual thoughts haha. Things were pretty hit and miss for me though.

 

taking a short study break to listen to a little bit of this... man, im digging this so far. its cool hearing them do things that are so different from their past sound. i hope this record has longevity for me.

 

The first 3 songs have a great groove.
Then for a walk hits. Not what I was expecting.

 

Haven't had a chance to listen yet. What song is the initial teaser that was shown with the black and white video accompanying it?

LOAM is an early favorite. Feels like the bridge track between Things we Think... and Light we Made
Surprised there isn't anything straight B&C on this record. Maybe that is the point.

 

Opening and closing tracks are great, the singles are very good and "For A Walk" is bad imho. Everything in between I'm going to have to spend more time with, but it's an interesting album and i love the gazey vibes throughout

 

I've listened to For a Walk 3 times in a row. lol
Liking it more each time. Im not sure I like it in the track listing...yet

The opener with that bass groove is just too cool. Where was this WIll Yip on the last album ?
