after one listen, postcard is miles ahead of this song, but i'm absolutely smitten with postcard so...
I think I like the first single more, but that's on the basis that they committed to the new song more on that one. Still need time with this, but I dig it
Another great song. I'm fully expecting to adore this record. I remember a while back I said I'd love to get a poppy, catchier B&C album and it definitely looks like my wish is coming true.
I don't know if I like it as much as Postcard, but I do like it. Kind of reminds me of Title Fights Chlorine, but with less flange.
Said this in the news thread, the linear nature of the song and its pop tendencies heavily remind me of Saves The Day - In Reverie era.
I like this song a lot despite not being quite as unique as Postcard is, but I feel like it'll be easier to really "get" this song once it can be heard in the context of the whole album. My only major gripe with it is the ending feels so sudden, like the song could have benefited from an extra 30 seconds to a minute to include a change of pace or end the song a bit more gracefully somehow.
I want to know what the song is from the initial album announcement. That bass groove haunts my dreams.
this is nice, love those guitars and jon sounds so much better as a vocalist now still just really happy this band is evolving
Absolutely love the sound they're taking with this record! New single is so mellow and cool. Can't wait for this one!
