Interested in hearing with which records you feel he shifted into 'fine' territory, because weren't you a pretty big detractor of his for awhile? Maybe I'm just lumping you in with a bunch of other people, though. Hard keeping up with everyone who dislikes the dude, haha

 

I was. Recent albums from la dispute, pianos, circa, mwy, tigers jaw, etc. were all fine sounding records. His style will likely never excite me but I don't think he's bad anymore

 

I like the tigers jaw and mewithoutyou production, pianos too. I'd like to see tigers jaw with a different kind of production but I'm never expecting that

 

This is where I've gotten to with him also

Everything decent coming out soon seems to be at the tail-end of September. I'm beyond impatient!
