The new song is awesome, I'm really diggin the sound.

 

Band can do literally nothing wrong. One of the only bands that I will enjoy just about anything from that isn't 15 years old.

 

I'm trying to preorder this but the site is t letting me - I keep getting an error about shipping method. Very frustrating.

 

The drums on this are really, really bad.

Vocals sounds like they listened to a lot of Seahaven.

 

I'm actually surprised the response has been so positive thus far

 

they just communicated badly on like a five month delay for new bermuda, that's about it. wasn't entirely their fault

 

it's the same thing as the hotelier, common posters on this site absolutely do not represent the general reaction to these bands

 

Jon been listening to a lot of Desiigner because those first two lines are damn near mumbled.

 

Also I think Keepsake is their best song imho. That bass groove tho.

Maybe because that record is aggressively mediocre. Haha

 

That's their best album aesthetically but it's still a snooze fest because the songwriting

 

The band was actually on the fence about even including this one on the LP - they said out of everything recorded it was most similar to TTWTWM.

That might just be their possible influence showing. Seahaven had their own reputation going around as a nü-jack B&C when they first got hype on Ghost.

 

Interesting, do you know if it made it or not?

 

The new song is so great it's making me revisit this band's albums, which I hadn't done in a while.

 

Hypnotic is a great way to describe this song. I've listened to this probably 50 times already. It will end and I'll think about switching to something else, but then it starts again and I'm sucked back in.

Definitely got the Seahaven vibe and I'm about it. Song is really good.

It sounded like it was getting cut as far as I was told. In the same camp as everyone else though and haven't heard the album.

 

I strongly disagree - Reverie Lagoon is an absolute masterpiece

songwriting is nuanced but rock-solid and the album possesses a very unique and powerful atmosphere, it's almost like standing deliriously under the scorching sun - it clouds the mind but also brings suffocating pleasure until you have to burn exhausted by the loneliness and melancholy it brings

it is a beautiful album, don't stay on the surface

 

it just didn't work for me unfortunately. it is their best album. not really a fan of that band.

 

the drums on this are extremely good. some people just don't get loop based drum programming I guess

 

I also think the drums here rule

 

Really cool to hear this. I liked that song but would much rather a cohesive album full of postcards
