i think the label/management is banking on them getting a ton of press on this record...interesting to see such an upgrade in venues size after a year or two of doing nothing
This song drags out for me, and I hate the first minute but it's okay overall. This band after Separation hasn't done much for me. Separation is a goddamn masterpiece.
I was definitely a little surprised by the size of the room they're playing in Detroit (not that it's enormous or anything) but it'll be cool to see them on a bigger stage. I seriously love this song though. The chorus has been stuck in my head for an hour already.

I bet a Chicago date is announced between 11/6 and 11/10 after B&C plays Riot Fest Definitely commend the band for stepping out of the box with the new song but not for me after the first listen at least.
This song gives me a huge mewithout you vibe. It's not what i expected and i haven't decided if that's good or bad yet. As others have said, I didn't like the song at all until the chorus on the first listen but on the second listen, the beginning sounded better. I think it's going to be a grower but a whole album like this, who knows.
Not too surprising, the band's noted The Rising Tide as a major influence and they had that vibe on the last album for sure.
I'm happy this jump sonically is happening while on Vagrant. They can give the band the proper push and direction that wouldn't have happened while on No Sleep.
Agreed, I love this sound for them, his vocals fit in so well with it. I don't think the drums sound "fake" like people are saying. The drums just aren't a major focal point of the song is all. Glad they are on Vagrant now, hopefully they can continue to expand there fanbase. Band is fantastic live.
Agree on all. I can't help but harkin back to Title Fight's Hyperview since so many people were polarized but that leap. I wonder if that'll happen here or if the transition is more smooth.
yeah idk if that was the 'cool' thing to do, seemed a lil out of left field for them. Not super out of left field, just a lil. I saw B&C touring for Seperation at least 3 times, but I didn't see them touring for TTWTWM
yes pity sex, whirr, nothing, those bands were very well loved by the hardcore kids that loved title fight
Takes one song for a band's entire direction to be labelled as shoegaze. People just love throwing that word around.
