Last to Know rules so hard. That keyboard sound over the top, or whatever the hell it is, sounds like Michael Mann's Heat.
Don't really care that much for Disney songs, but got chills right away when they turned to that B&C intro. Matthew sounds really good too by the way!
These songs are so fantastic man, so blessed to have music from them again, my favorites kinda rotate but Last to Know is kind of the perfect Balance song. I’m going on a date tonight and she mentioned liking title fight so best believe I will be attempting to put her onto this
If you have a date that’s into Title Fight, I would bet a year of my salary that they already listen to B+C but that’s tight I hope the date goes well
The good news: she was already playing Last to Know when I got in the car and she revealed Pianos become the teeth is her fav band The bad news: despite everything going well it seems like things are a little too complicated at the moment on both ends but we shall see
My first long term girlfriend and I saw TF together probably over 10 times. The first time we hung out with mutual friends of ours in the same setting was actually a tiny bar show in Latham, NY when TF had just released their EP’s together as TLTYF, and our friends band was an opener. All that to say, after 4 and a half years she left me for a friend of mine at that time and now has a ring and two kids so maybe don’t date the TF women? Idk that’s just me.
Their reunion and all the recent excitement pushed me to finally get a B&C tattoo scheduled. Getting the ghost from TTWTWM in a traditional style. I'll post a pic in here after after my appointment next Wednesday.
I've always wanted to get a trad style piece inspired by that artwork but have never followed through with it. Can't wait to see the results!
Same — my idea for a long time was a lava lamp, or maybe just a circle with the lava lamp bubbles in it. But I’m really bad about hanging onto tattoo ideas for a long time and then just never getting it lol. Good luck and excited to see a photo!
I knew a guy that got the Separation art on him in 2011. Felt like a really bold move back then, unsure if he’s still a fan or not but at least 12 years later the record has actually aged well
I have wanted the separation art on one forearm and the acoustic ep artwork on another for as long as I can remember but never did it.
Yeah Separation artwork seems like a no brainer tattoo if you love B&C. As long as no one gets the weird face from LWM.
Separation was my first thought but it's the most popular option when you google "balance and composure tattoo" haha. Figured the ghost done in a different style would be somewhat original, at least to me
Both of these songs have been in daily rotation, weather has been colder and rainy lately so it’s been the perfect vibe, throwing in some of their older stuff too. Honestly up there with my fav bands at this point
