These songs are realllly hitting today, the fact they went away for what seemed like so long but I was falling in love with Slow Heart and other bangers all over again this winter, I’m realizing they are pretty high up on my favorite band list

Keepsake is one of my favs after somehow initially sleeping on it, massive hook

 

It might just be nostalgia but Balance and Composure are like Circa survive to me in that their first album sounded so good (both recorded/produced by Brian McTernan). I just absolutely love the drum and guitar tones on that album, like Quake is a prime example... sounds so good when those drums kick in.

These new songs are definitely a step back towards that sound (and to be honest, I don't hate or even dislike any of the albums since, I just think their debut was top tier and nothing since has quite hit the same heights).

 

Ok, threw on The Things We Thing We're Missing on a run today. Around 630pm-730pm. Sun going down on cloudy skies. Storms rolling in. Some clear skies peaking in the distance. NAILED it. Perfect run.

 

the things we think we're missing has aged phenomenally, as someone who was rather lukewarm to it for a good few years. i adore it now.

 

I remember being high as fuck, with my first pair of audio-technica's after getting my first job out of school, listening to TTWTWM, crying, texting my friends that it was like I had heard TBS' TAYF for the first time again.

Listened to it today on the drive home and still got goosebumps from Reflection, definitely aged well.

Is there confirmation of an album?

 

TTWTWM is an album where I know I love it, but when Parachutes kicks in I forget just how good it really is. Banger after banger. Reflection is still my favorite.

Seems there may be an issue? I was able to select 2 tickets, got put into a queue, and now the event is saying tickets arent on sale.

 

Yeah I don’t know what’s up, but Union Transfer allows me to “buy tickets,” then tells me tickets “aren’t available at this time” when I try buying just one ticket

 

I was able to get one ticket to Philly. The website wouldn’t physically let me get 2 for some reason but 1 went through. Got that ticket and now it’s saying it’s not available. Not sure what happened.
