is that a thing? haven't seen any rumors for that. i'm intrigued by it i wouldn't say anything else they've done sounds like this
Their other two records are definitely worth checking out, very grunge tinged rock/emo. Great guitar tones too

I'm for this. Not too sure about the album cover. If it was just the face, I'd like it a lot, but the lipstick and eyelash effect kinda ruin it for me. My girlfriend loves it though.
What I was thinking, too. Definitely hear some Radiohead and mewithoutYou in there. Remember when people got mad at others for speculating over the sound of the clip? Agree that this is an interesting progression and am excited to see what else they can do with it. Also dig the artwork.
Drums are awesome, but yeah, song's kinda boring. Still have lots of hope for the album though, despite the questionable cover
Felt like it kind of dragged on there but definitely did like it. Really excited for the record. How long until this is up on Spotify?
Jesus, that artwork is almost too much to handle. Seriously, that's some of the worst artwork I've seen in a long time.
Also, after listening to this song, I have mixed feelings about it. Overall, I think it's pretty good. Even though the electronic drums are an interesting choice to say the least, I like the lyrics, general flow, and sound of the song. It's so different from anything they've done, and so different from what almost all of the scene is doing right now, which is cool. Not enough bands in the genre B&C is in take risks, so I definitely give them credit for that and will be checking out the rest of the record. I could see the album having a few slower and a few faster / more intense songs as compared to the single, but generally my guess would be that this pace / mood will carry on throughout most of the album. Honestly, it kind of reminds me of somewhere between Bellows and the Brand New demos tracks...sort of. I see a lot of their current fan base absolutely hating this single / probably album, but I also see them possibly getting a lot of commercial attention / recognition with this sound and eventually obtaining a completely new audience that's bigger than their previous one. It's hard to say the last band I can remember with such a big stylistic change, anyone have any examples...?
I love the nuance. The vocal and drum is mesmerizing in a way that you don't even notice the guitar riffs sort of ticking away at each other, peaking in and out. "Either way, you go" is almost hypnotic
I love the chorus and am totally on board with this new direction. The artwork would be great without the lips and eyelashes.
