Revisiting these dudes again. They're one of my favorites over the past 10 years or so. The new EP is really good and makes me excited for a new album this year. Apocalypse Whenever is great and not talked about enough. Mystic Truth holds a very special place in my heart. It is my favorite release from them as I have an intense emotional connection with the album. I know it’s deemed the least favorite by many, but dang….im sucker for the early 2000’s indie rock/pop stuff. Disappear Here still rules. It’s a fun one and might be their strongest album front to back. Language & Perspective truly sets the tone for band. Kind of wild this is their DEBUT. I listen to this album the least, but you can’t deny or turn away form the mainstream hooks on this one.
New single is imminent. Preview: https://public.laylo.com/message-at...aylo-pid=d8e75aca-9cdd-4db0-82d5-f0f716c91087
2023’s Infinite Joy EP is essentially L&P part II. It’s great. I’m probably on the outskirts, but I think they’ve surpassed L&P. Apocalypse Whenever is the love child of their first two albums. Underrated album.
L&P is just one hit after another. Confident and completely locked in. I do mostly like Disappear Here, but nothing else has even come close
