10 tracks makes me nervous but I like literally every single song this band has released, including the new one. So, I'm excited.
Classy album cover. I like the first single, but Hold Your Fire is fantastic! Seems like this will be around a 30 minute album.
Neither of the two do anything for me so I’ll probably not be into this record. Also, Christo sounds different on these songs. Like he’s on auto-pilot it something?
Decided to pre-order the new album. I really like these new songs. They’re a little more straight forward than the previous stuff, but I like that. Christo’s vocals don’t sound as nasally on these new songs either, which is good.
So, I live in San Diego....I got shipment notification about my pre-order that it is in San Diego, but it was on its way to LA and now its back to my residence in San Diego. I don't get it. It was so close! Super weird lol.
If you liked the 3 songs already released, then you'll probably enjoy this album. If those 3 songs already released didn't do it for you, then you might not enjoy the rest of the album. It's very scaled back and has early 2000's Indie/Rock/Pop vibes throughout the album. Personally, I dig it. Its definitely a change for them. I get some The Bravery and Rooney vibes in these songs. Super excited to have this album!
Yeah this is very good. I'm not sure how it will stack up to the first two, which I love deeply, but they were due to change it up sonically a bit and they definitely did that on this one. The quality hooks are still there though, with the exception of Hold Your Fire, which I found a bit lackluster after a few listens. A Miracle A Mile Away, The World And I, and Howling at the Sun are probably my favs as of right now
Gonna take a little while for me to differentiate between the songs, but I dig the general vibe of this album
I love this album I feel like they're were always trying to go for the zaniest and kookiest hooks and I like it's a little more scaled back. The World and I is an absolute banger, as is Starjumper. The little piano and synth placements are so good.
Nothing really caught my attention on my first listen, but since then a few songs from this have popped up on playlists and they're enjoyable. I'll have it in rotation for a while.
Very much enjoying this. Not gonna top any lists for me, but I’ll definitely throw this on often. Nice ushering in of summer album.
